Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

e2matrix LOL, I do so apologize, God only knows how, but I meant to put "Watts", I feel dumb, sorry for my inadvertent typo, yah, I'd LOVE a 450 HP electric motor for $60, I could do 120 mph while hauling 2 tons of load, LOL, thanx for telling me sir.

a 450 Watt motor is not very powerful, if the total weight of the rider, bike, motor and batteries are less than 180lbs, your good to go, but for experimenting with converting for use with generation, I prefer gearless btw, less resistance from the friction of the gears themselves

I have watched the evolution of the brushless hub motor over the past 20 years with great enthusiasm, and as they have become more powerful, more efficient and a hell of a lot lesser cost, I seen some reliable 450hp motors for less than $60, I have loved it, the ONLY problem is power, the batteries are probably the #1 hindering factor, the price of quality & reliable batteries is ridiculous, I working on a project that would use the principle of regenerative braking, having one wheel with a motor that also supports regenerative braking, but have another more powerful motor converted for the sole purpose of regeneration, it won't produce an Overunity effect, but I think more people will buy e-bikes if they can get twice the distance on half the power from a battery that's also half the weight (free bonus)
I have made myself an e-bike with a large gearless hub-motor. It is rated to 800 Watts, but when I look at the specs for the brushless motor on my 1/8 scale truggy, that small sized motor is rated to deliver 2800 Watts peak.
The e-bike battery pack consist of 10S 30C LiPo with a 60A BMS with bluetooth connection to Android phone. Batteries are bought at Hobbyking.com.
The electric current readings peaks 75A@40Volt at full throttle from slow speeds, or approx 3kW with tremendous torque at that low RPM. The rear hub motor is very powerful, but is for sure capable of much more power without damage. The only concern is the spokes between the hubmotor and the 28 inch rim.
From the three phase motor connectors, it is possible to regenerate some power. So I have bought a 1500Watt step up converter and a three phase rectifier. The converter needs at least 10VDC in to work. The rectified three phace is pretty damn smooth. I did a test with it and the regeneration works great. However, the temorary wirings looks like an IS-bomb, so I need some time to clean up the wiring :-)
Another concern is the input current to the converter. If I want to charge the battery with 6A at 36-42V, I need an input current at 24A. 6A charging current isn't much, so by tuning this up to 10 or 15 A we are talk 40-60A input at 10V which is not very practical amd the converter is limited to 30A input current, while input voltage is rated from 10V to 60V. Output up to 85V.
