Earth magnetic field inductor compass idea

Not sure if this belong to free energy topic but here is little idea:

lets say we have a magnet with coil wrapped around it, when its positioned in such a way that its field will align with earth magnetic field, both magnets will become coupled (in series) and so our magnet will become stronger, it will gain + 0.65 G (the strength of earth mag field)  and when we dealign magnet from earth field lines it will loose  - 0.65 G. Now we can have induction in coil from changing magnetic field (increasing and deceasing field during magnet movement) we probably have to use radio amplifier to register small current, various voltage readings will give as indication of direction.

maybe this is what Lester Hendershot was doing with his true north earth induction compass...

Yes, if you turn a coil (with or without a core, where a magnet is a bad core) in the earth magnetic field, you have a generator, although with a very small result (because the earth magnetic field is very weak in comparison to the magnets in a real generator or dynamo).

Yes, you could measure the generated AC with a sensitive instrument (amplifier) in order to determine direction. But the modern electronic compass integrated circuits can do that without the need to turn something (see attachments).

I did many experiments concerning the earth magnetic field. On the photo my contraption (with the HMC5883L - 3 axis compass integrated circuit) indicates the direction of the magnetic field lines in my area (Austria). The field lines come out of the earth at an angle (of course towards North). In order to get the best result with a turning coil in the earth magnetic field, the coil should turn in the plane indicated by my contraption (but still the generated AC would be very very small).

Unfortunately we will never know what Lester Hendershot did, he preferred to be secretive (like all strange inventors, otherwise they would not have been strange).

In this experiment, you do not need the magnet at all. All you need is the coil. If you spin a coil that way in the earth magnetic field, it will generate power. However, it will be very weak unless you spin up the coil to fantasticly high RPM's.

the thing is, how Hendershot detect such a small current variation from induction based on earth direction ? he used vacuum tube amplifier in 1928? he wants to mount his compass with vacuum tube amplifier in plane? i dont think so... something more powerful were going on in his device,s omething really weird... the fact is that he uses ring magnet of some sort, with coil on it.

as for the diagram below:

magnets are moving with the plane and ring magnet is rotating, inner coil is stacionary.
yeah, we dont need ring magnet just rotating one coil.

I conclude from this sentence that you do not want to build an electronic compass.
