Developments Bedini, to this device, have no relationship. In these devices has a basic value, a one-stage shift of the angle of interaction of the coils and the rotor magnets.
As a result, we obtain a zero resistance to rotation (compensation of the attraction vectors for acceleration and deceleration)

Hi rakarskiy, i know, was just going off topic commenting back to aliengrey.
I have seen interesting things with a very large coil newman type motor, when i turned the coil on its side, just like in this device being shown.
When the position of the coil was adjusted just right in relation the shaft full of neo magnets, i did not see any lenz drag, though it was generating current just fine.
The geometry and positioning i'm sure is critical in this design, just like the timing of an internal combustion engine.

Yes-you are wrong.
The lenz effect will still be there.

The magnetic fields are still cutting the winding's.
It makes no difference which way you have the coils.

This is just another hogwash job.
Why the need for a battery,if the generator is producing more power than the motor is consuming ?
Why not just a large capacitor instead?

   Good point, but perhaps it's a good start, using the battery and all.
   Akula's first self running device also needed a battery to keep it stable, otherwise it would overheat without it.
Further improvement on Akula's second self runner did not need a battery. Only to start the device.

   A couple of young Mexican also had a self recharging bike. It ran for 5 months without needing the battery to be recharged.
They showed it in several places.  What ever happened to that???  Hogwash? Perhaps...
  There are other electric bikes that are self-recharging as well.
   Time will tell... what is the truth, or just hogwash.

   P.S.  I have two motorized bikes, 66cc. And I'd love to see them converted to electric motors, and able to recharge themselves.
   However, 100+ miles per gallon is not so bad, for now. Compared to the price of batteries to run the 1000w motors.
