I do not know why it has not been done before , because it could have been done decades ago-60+years ago ,I think it is the way we teach in our school systems about energy conversion processes , all conversion of energy is either stepped up or down for dc/ac or dc/dc or ac/ac but not 3 ways like I have done to achieve high current after raising voltage
