I agree Void. I guess it was announced but I didn't hear anything about it. I remember people slowing down with some flashing their hazard lights. We have amber alert signs over the freeways here that always have something posted on them like "Buzzed driving doesn't always mean drunk driving", and such. Maybe put that in the signs as well, especially if it's after dark when it'll be more visible.

I was getting ready to honk at people for going so slow for no apparent reason before I saw it as well.

We also have to consider the security side of this.
And how much info they can actually give us pre-launch.


That affects the ability of sabotage or interference with the mission.


The less people know too far in advance, the less likelihood of problems occurring.
Those cubesats are kind of a big deal. There's infinite future events that are hinged
on them arriving in their planned orbital positions.

Good point sm0ky2. I'd settle for unannounced but during the daytime. Too much of a light show at night. Maybe do it around 2am when hardly anyone is on the road.

So why does it appear to be going more left than up? Burns more fuel the longer they stay in our atmosphere. Perhaps it has to do with our planet being flat?
