Medication: a substance used for medical treatment, especially a medicine or drug.

Note a medication claims to treat something but not to cure it and it's not a well known fact but many common drugs routinely fail the placebo test. That is the drug has no more effect than a common sugar pill and does little if nothing in itself.

What is very interesting is that in many cases a placebo or sugar pill is just as effective as a supposed medication, should we call sugar or candy a medication?. This is why facts and science matter and if a supposed cure does not pass a valid unbiased double blind test then it's not a cure, more so fraud in my opinion.

On the upside, apparently in many cases a placebo or sugar pill can be just as effective as a medication which proves the human body has the ability to heal itself. In effect a medication is just a substance which helps our body perform a biological function it cannot perform itself because something is wrong. However the placebo effect proves our mind or consciousness can perform a similar function and heal itself.
As such meditation, eating healthy and getting exercise to improve our well being and mental state may qualify as a treatment because it can produce the same result as a medication.

The downside as Dr. Greer pointed out is that this new populist wave spreading fear and division can have the opposite effect on our well being. Stress, anxiety and substance abuse are on the rise which have been proven to effect our health. Which begs the question, has this populist new world order of consciousness contributed to the harm done by the corona virus?.
