Well designed wast of time!?

Here is something I ran across on the net. From what I see it will not work. I feel sorry for the guy who spent so much time on the graphics and yet over looked basic logic. Been there done that! The first picture is the whole idea. The next few are animations of the idea. This is just food for thought and expressing the misconception of force and work.
