World health org. people noticed that the Zeka virus was spreading to new
areas of the planet.  Analysis of that vector lead to the realization that the scientist
investigating the the virus had visited the new regions of spread prior to the that
spread.  The pattern of those visitations and of the viral spread, indicated that the
scientists their selves were most likely the carriers of the virus to the new regions.

A similar event occurred with the spread of a fungus which infects amphibious life forms.
That fungus along with the loss / degradation of habitat, is a major reason that all amphibious
life forms on earth are now classified as endangered.
