If I test that book against the bible as the word and authority of God and testing standard, then we can conclude that the story is 'false'.

No they are not angels, in most cases they are what bible calls "hosts of heaven" which we are not supposed to worship cause they humans like us, usually of higher planes, since "there are many mansions in my father's house", flesh and blood.
