As per sketch if i drop the ball in a closed tube then the arm will move more than 180 degree Due to kinetic energy of ball. But at the time of returning of arm it will not get its previous height if ball+tube are remain on its position.
Now if ball +tube both slide at same time from 90 degree   then the arm will move more than 180 degree due to kinetic energy of both ball +tube(ball will hit the bottom of tube) and at the time of returning it will get more height than its previous position as it will work to neutral the gravity.
There will be a lock system in the tube to hold the ball.

1. When you post a jpg file to a topic and it is too large to fit onto
the screen, it causes the readers to have to scroll back and forth in order
to view it.  This also causes the text you have  written to also spread
across the screen.

As a courtesy, you should re size your drawings as smaller before you post them.
Then check to see if this has worked properly and try again untill you figure it out.

2.  Your drawing and explination are incomplete.  They leave us to either guess
or assume too many things.
