From all of my experiments its an accomplishment to run an engine parked in the driveway but its another thing to meet the variable demands out on the road. My vapor carbs always flooded out on the road.. and its illegal to run like that out on the road and the ECM will go wacko.

Its better to perfect this on a lawn tractor or lawn mower. Larry Jarboe ran his Lawn mower on HHO 20 years ago and he dried his wood with wood gas to be competitive.

But do not forget scads of dead successors. That is why small engines would be word of mouth and under the radar if you do not go  to the media and brag.
