Here's a patent that appears similar to your drawing - see Fig. 14, 16 and 18. A pretty good patent write-up;
maybe some information in it worth looking at.

Examination of the the first embodiment starting at [0057] is quite interesting. Note that Hyun makes no mention
of Lenz'sLaw, but instead, claims the "excess energy" is due to the "traveling magnetic field." Although the device
is quite simple, decyphering the patent might be a bit challenging (IMHO, worth the effort however).
