Driving east in afternoon towards Brockport. N.Y., Monroe county, there was a slow moving air craft going south. Too slow for a crop duster. Stopped vehicle by the canal , got out and watched it stationary directly above me at low level. I reached for camera, but no film. About 2 car lengths in size. There were weird lights flashing green and red. The circular underside had 3 separate banks of white lights going on and off in sequence. I had, at the time figured it was taking ground pictures. The gray outer surface with dome, had a single white light going all around 360 degrees. It then tipped a little sideways and moved off to the east and landed in open field of U shape with woods on 3 sides. First road east of Brockport on left from Rt 31AI then stopped on the now previous steel deck bridge with my witness and watched it still bright flashing lights. Then it started pouring rain. I figured that's why it landed. Nothing was seen in local papers next few weeks. I could still see small planes landing in the distance at nearby small private airport. Nothing else to do but go home. Years later, I surmised that the craft originated from HERE, US or Canada, not up THERE. It came across the lake heading due South then landed after moving to east side of Brockport . I looked on the Internet, and there was a man in Canada, saw the same thing the same time period. Nuclear Power is unstable and releases too much Energy that has to be controlled. I surmised that the 3 banks of lighting were high watts flood lights using up excess power. If bulb blows out, easy to change. The duty cycle on and off time was to cool down bank before being on again. There is Internet website of all US UFO sightings by State, County, Township, and dates. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

It's probably WAY easier to get abducted by aliens if you've got something in your pipe and you're smoking it!

Plus it's probably a reason why we don't get a lot of alien visitors - I mean, they expend all that energy, take however many eons to get from a-world to b-world... only to find when they get here IT'S RAINING! Then they go back and put all the other aliens off even bothering.

As strange as it may seem there are many accounts of people/inventors building there own UFO's using advanced technology.

The most common question would then be why didn't they tell anyone about it?. It's because most people don't understand inventors or how there mind works. As an inventor I can confirm most inventors are reclusive and we build stuff to prove it works and learn not to impress other people. Where most people dream about fame/fortune and all the drama that goes with it most real inventors think the opposite.

Odd  how there were many strange craft sighted in Hudson valley region during 70's ?( between Canada And NYC northern suburbs)
We never read or heard about this at the time ( or perhaps not given any serious coverage?)
