Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

k i found some stuff that is urethane, and its used to glue shingles and stuff to your roof, weatherproof, waterproof, and heat resistant cause roofs get hot (prob what grumpy was talking about on page 30 something or other).  anyways, i know the stuff your talking about keithturtle, i used to work at a bodyshop.  problem is, the 3m is 15 bucks at autozone.  stuff i found is 3.89 a tube, and it looks to have some of the same ingredients as i stopped on the way to home depot to read the label on the 3m.  so if it works, cool, cheap alternative, if not, i tried, lol.  ive got it on some plates gonna give it a good burn in  once its dried tomorrow morning and see what kind of results i get, i gotta get some koh. :-\

hey raptor what do you have for spacers between your plates? is that teflon or something?
EDIT nevermind i see that its just what its resting on, it looked from the top view like you had your plates seperated with something white.

I just read a study on urethanes.  rated for 225 degrees f in air and 175 degrees F in water for prolonged use (not to say we wont have better results with our types, its yet to be seen obviousy).  are we going to see temps above this during everyday use ironhead?  on a high note.  same study says that its oxygen resistant, lol so at least were good on that part of it.

S.C. I actually have 1/4 inch tile spacers in between the plates. I took the + and cut the sides off the plus shape to end up with a " l " then I placed these all the way to the outside edges centered, once all the spacers were in. I used a big clamp to hold them in position(all in a row) then layed the rubber down the sides, put plastic over the butyl to seal the sides of the plates.

Although, I just happened across some I believe to be Bakelite.. it's small sheets of the material PCB's are made on.

Try using .025 weedeater cord. And make sure you use a bubbler.....the flame can retrace into the electrolyser and explode!

 ;)
yeah, big badaboom.. I've seen it happen... to other experimenters, bubblers / flame arrestors are a must....

Rapptor,
I have made a cell like yours before. Amp leaked and the overall performance was far from expected. After I sealed the cell tightly, I totally realised the importance of separation of each partition. Save more power and produce more HHO!
I just want to share what I did before. Thanks!
