Hello,

for obtaining the best results in HHO output in less time , you may want to try this computer controlled device .

PC FUNCTION GENERATOR 0-1MHz WITH ADAPTER (110V)

http://www.vellemanusa.com/us/enu/product/view/?id=351381
(I don't get cash from this company)

You can obtain your desired waveform simply be editing a waveform library file (by editor).

A DC Offset can be applied to the signal , so it starts at 0 V to maximum 5 V.
The frequency can be set to the desired value.
You don't need an oszilloscope for determining the frequency und mark space ratio.

You can download the software and use it in demo mode
(without having purchased the device at all) :

I will try this.

I'll have to try the software download, and if it looks like it'll work I'll have one soon. MCM has it listed for $56 USD http://www.mcminone.com/search.asp?fkey=&restrict=3830510&keyword=velleman&btnSubmit.x=2&btnSubmit.y=4
That's a bargain if it will dial in specific frequency and waveform

@ The Cell & turtle:

What's the deal with this unit... did either of you try it? Also... I thought I read in another thread somewhere that someone inside O/U was working to code a version that uses the PC soundcard to interface. Is this so?

I've read so much in the past few weeks it's all becoming a big blurr. So much to learn; so little time.

Cheers, Mark.

Yo, Mark;

Neither of those did I bother to persue.  I bought the Chapps controller cuz it'll dial in a specific freq. and hold it, owing to the chip Bill uses.  Still working with it, but y'all cain't sweep a range, like the FG500 will.

I jes soldered up my Elenco FG-500K kit, which senior IronHead sez is adequate to the task.

I got a long way to go in this, and don't let the fog bother ya... you got a long way to go, too.

Thanks, Turtle!

I picked up an Eico signal generator. I'll probably bang away at that anyways, at least for the time being & until I'm a little more comfortable playing around with things I can't hear, see, smell... or feel.
