How to get hydrogen to use it?

 Hello
Here is my concern. They say that hydrogen is not a fuel that can be found by itself. They need to produce hydrogen from a water by giving it some energy. I dont understant  how they save energy by combining them back and produce water and electricity, even they loose some of it for sure. Can someone explain that to me please.

I want to make my question more clear.    H2O (water) + energy = H2 + O     Fuel cell makes the reverse of this prossess and gives the energy to the engine, motor or ect. I dont see any gain in here. Anybody has any idea about this?

converting water to hydrogen is known as electrolosis. To date there is no evidence of overunity in this type of system. but there are still some applications for which it is ideal.  A few people have claimed overunity from this type of device but they dont us 'convensional electrolosis'.  a common principle is that by converting energy from one form to another energy is lost (usually in the form of heat).  In order to acheive overunity from water you need a way to break the hydroxy bond using less energy than the hydrogen will create.  Many are trying to and have claimed to do this using frequincies-like breaking a glass its easier to do with the right pitch than it is to do with your fist.

I understand what you meant, but there are hundereds of reseches about hydrogen fuel cells. Billions of dollars has been spent for this reseches. There are buildings running on fuel cells. I know that they dont use hydrogen. They use some other gases. Still i dont belive this fuel cell can be energy for us. I havent heart anything to make me belive fuel cell is a some kind of energy for us.

The main reason i see people using fuel cells is because unlike other types of energy-fuel needs no cord.  Batteries work but are less conventional to 'refill' or charge. you can refill your hydrogen in 3 minutes but to refill your battery it could take hours....so we use fuel/fuel cells.
Though, i have done some reading on 'ultra capacitors'/'super-capacitors'/'capatteries'--I believe If we could get these to work at low cost it would be a better more easily obtainable solution to our problems.
