I agree with you Marco. Too much clutter. Back in December we had enough threads on the TPU thing. Now its takeing so much time to read them all it is interfearing with lab time.  I feel compelled to read them because i dont want to miss any thing. On the otherhand its getting out of controll. yes IST the pancake is a great coil to hook your scope to. I've saved my scope countless times useing one as a passive transducer to the scope .M.

i do not understand why people are acting this way all i know is that it used to be good and now i miss most of the posts because i simply do not know where to start reading and it takes too much time..

if we are finished complaining i would like to let you all know that this topic the sm part of this site is only going to grow much bigger as it already has since i have started on this project so put on your seat belt im now going to be back at the tpu agin hardcore this time with all the right tools i have what it takes to crack this thing i know it and in time i will

on another note i finished the the first layer of my new tpu im going to wind the controls on it next so far i have used 18 ga lamp wire 3 pancakes stacked ontop of each other then i wound a feedback coil on top of the 3 pancakes then i put masking tape over the whole thing the feedback coil is 22 ga solid and now the controls will be 22 ga solid and there will be 3 of them  and after i finish that i think it is 1 layer i will make 2 more just like it

well i got the first layer done and all hooked up and well i plused all 3 pancakes and controls and let me tell you at the right freq i get some verry intresting pluses on my scope there are lots of kicks but the really neat thing is that every second kick has no negitive taill kick only posotive kicks that is only every second pluse also once i turn the switch in the freq gen from 1 to 10 to 100 1k 100k my wave does not change in shape just makes many many many more of them so hummm

i will take a pic of my scope shot of the wave well i tryed to take a pic of the wave but the flash from the cam makes a glare so i shot a vid of the wave here it is and here is a pic of the coil i made to day

well the more i play the more i love this game

ok so i hooked up my feedback coil to ch 2 of my scope and....

and  the coil up to ch1 of the scope and well all settings were the same on both channels on my feed back coil i had the same pluse and wave as  my pancakes and controls only thing is that it was ringging more and the kicks were much bigger also the pluse was amplifies too but verry clear no junk with just like a mirror of channel 1 but faster

just more fun seams to work well tho

ok i shot another vid of my scope this time the wave on the bottom of the screen is my pluse to and from the pancake coils and controls  the top wave is from my feed back coil wound overtop of the pancakes and underneath the controls it is the same only bigger and faster

next i will build another coil the same and stack it then the feed back coil will go into the next 3 pancakes and controls plus the next freq pluse

my feedback coil is running at 51.2 khz
and that is the freq my generator is putting out and sending through my coils
