I mean the theory that they are just a diversion for those who would suppress other technologies...
I cannot see spending that amount of time and money to develop a diversion so others can be
left alone, it would be noble but unlikely that anyone would do it as you suggest, and also to
"goad" other researchers into getting something out there in order to beat Steorn. But I guess
it could happen, or perhaps I misunderstood you.
