I'm new here and must say this forum seems to have me hooked!  I have been thinking of making a H or HHO boost for my truck.  Last few nights I have found myself falling asleep while trying to absorb so much info!  So if I may I would like to ask a few questions.

1) What form of generator seems to be providing the best results so far?
2) Could someone help me with making one?
3) I notice alot of talk of a tempurature problem.  Would a second cell, and a few thermostats to turn them on/off help?  I hadn't noticed any mention of thermal protection.

I found the site thru zerofossilfuel's you tube and his generator looks simple yet productive.  Zero, have you tried applying the pulse form I see talked about to see if you can drop current draw and still obtain the same yeild?  Most sites I have seen talk about putting a booster under the hood, but why not in a trunk (or in my case the bed of my truck)?

So the other night I got the idea to make a simple one of my own and with limited supplies I bought some stainless steel cable (it said it was stainless at least).  I took a canning jar and made a cross shaped piece of plexiglass to fit just inside the bottle.  I wraped it with the wire cut in 2 pieces and spread them about 3/8in apart on a spiral to the bottom.  filled it with water and some baking soda and viola! with 12v applied I was able to make some gas.  I ran it thru a bubbler and vented it to the atmosphere.  Although I was making gas there was little production for the 12v 2amp draw I was using up.  So I know I would need something much more efficient.  Any help would be appriceated here.  I have very little science knowledge although I do seem to pick up on it easier then most.  I haven't found anything I couldn't do with a little direction and I am determined to not let this one get me.

Anyways great site!  I see much future in the work you all are doing?

Welcome to the forum.  :)

Try not to get so hooked that you quit or loose your job.  :(

Please post some pictures of your work.  8)

Please do not get upset if it seems like folks are not responding right away; this is a part time gig for most of us,... except for some of us.  Some of us are actually building things and can not be on-line all the time.  I will drop out shortly to finish winding that Rodin coil on which I have been working.

Please rename the title of your thread to something more applicable to your work or design; something like, "readyakira's HHO Boost Project," or something along those lines, would do in a pinch.  Most folks here might not take the time to click on a "New here" topic, much less respond; you caught me on a good night.  :-*

Be informative, try to be kind, and have fun.  :D

ty did not know I could do that.  I will have to call the misses and have her bring up my card reader here to work.

EDIT: This is the quick made spur of the moment electrolyzer I had made.  The misses laughed before I made this...
