I use a separator . Most bubbler's evolve into a separator some where along the line as people need.
You have a lot of questions. I will try to answer some  , but right now I must sleep. Some of the levels are wrong on this pic but you get the idea. This one belong to a rather large system.

I think for home we will be seeing more in the Plasma systems  for not only heating but power production as well. This technology is also in its infancy.These system once started run very low power in and alot of heat out. Delta + is seen in most systems if not all , even the jelly jar

We are just starting to see some breakthroughs in the direction of lower power units.It is still in its infancy. I think ZFF might be showing that as well with the vacuum system. Here on OU

Yea, I really do think, unless the power is low, people will use the grid as the price is not too bad.  Now far as petrol, it keeps going up.  So there may be a meeting in the middle far as HHO.

In my old post, I have often mentioned HHO belongs in a car for now (for me anyway).  Since it needs so much current.  But hope to see the draw come down.

I will keep reading and hope someone can crack that nut.  There must be a frequency and interface that can break water into gas.  Just someone needs to find it.

Han's VL has some ideas as well, sure you have read them.  I was able to use a very low power (20mA) AM to get a little gas that would light.  I parked it as it was not really what Han's was after (a hardware error on my end caused that).  I used a 9VDC transistor battery to run it no less.  Again, it was not what Han's asked for, but the broken unit to create HHO.

I will probably get back to work in that area, hit it from another direction maybe.

I found the 555ic chip didn't work for me, Mosfet or any other way. I use an Electronic oscillator RF around 47MHz at  7.25 amp with a duel CW tone under vacuum. I isolate the gases off each plate so that I get the oxygen and hydrogen separate.  The down fall to this for some is the  $590.00 an ounce platinum plates. If you wanted to improvise and mod; an old cordless phones, was on 43-50 MHz.  Since I have an amateur (ham) license I have other means to accomplish this. ALSO TAKING THE RF CHOKE OFF CAN BE DANGEROUS.
