Updated forum to SMF version 1.1 public beta3 !

Hi All,
I successfully updated the forum now to:
SMF version 1.1 public beta3 !

This now brings the possibility to use more advanced features
like:
Enabling in your own profile the "send message via email to your email account".

If you want to answer to the posted message, you still must do it
here online via the webbrowser, but you can at least get all
new answers of a thread sent via email to you, if you subscribed to a thread.
(Mark the option to "Notify me of replies") under the posting.

Also the next great feature is that you now can sent private messages via your mobile
phone to other users via wap and I-mode interface.

Remember to login via mobile phone via:

http://www.overunity.com/index.php?imode

Now you can sent other users via the forum private mails,
when you are travelling via your mobile phone and check new newest
messages over here.
This is really a great feature.

I will try to integrate also a mail2smf modding feature,
when this mod will be available so we will also have the same
functionality as the former Yahoogroups forum.
Then you can post messages over here just by sending
them via email.

Also I will soon install more languages, so you can set in your
profile your mother language as the control language for the buttons.

I also added the last 10 messages in a "Recent posting box" at the buttom
of the start page.

I hope you like the new better version with the new features.

Hi,
please can somebody with a WAP enabled phone can test this:

Scrolldown to the login link at the buttom
and let me know, if you can login with your username
and password.

With my phone I still get a cookie error.

With a different SMF forum it works, but not for the
overunity forum for me in this moment.

I tried now to use a fresh install of the forum,but I still get cookie errors,
when I try to login via my Sharp TM 100 WAP mobile phone.

Here is a temporary fix, until the SMF forum team will find a better solution:

When the mobile phone browser displays this error message:

"An error has occured ! You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings.",

I am instantly clearing the cookies in my mobilephone browser and
then just tell it to reload the current displayed page, and then it finally logs itsself in...

But this is pretty annoying, cause I have to use additional clicks and
setup of the mobile phone browser.

Also when I clear the cookies and
all the cache before loading the login-page on the phone browser,
it still displays this error...!

So somehow the MySql database of my overunity.com
forum must  be doing it wrong or be coruppted with the cookie usage..

if you check now the WAP access via:

http://www.overunity.com/index.php?wap2

you should have a smaller font on your mobile display and thus can read more text
per display page.


also try:

http://www.overunity.com/index.php?imode
for I-Mode enabled mobile phones.

Please let me know, if there are still any errors accessing the forum via a mobilephone.
