I agree with p-motion

I like scott hall also, everytime someone thats interested in PM or might have figured it out stumbles on his video they probably give up because they figure, why bother its done.  So it makes it easier for us to take the credit. Unless that is that we aren't the ones meant to figure it out and we just lost it because of some idiot scammer.
Whats my point???

My local Public library doesn't have John Collins book,  i am very sad, i might have the answer to PM can i have $10 to download the e-copy.

That's just silly.

People don't decide not to build his stuff because "it's been done".
That would be an insanely stupid reason not to build a perpetuum mobile.

I think people decide not to follow that frauds example because they realise he's a fraud.
After all, if he weren't he would by now be running his house and car off a perpetual
generator and would be selling kits or something, plus he would be worldfamous for
coming up with a proven perpetuum mobile. It would be a world breakthrough.
The only good reason why that doesn't happen is simply because he has no working
perpetuum mobile. He makes videos because they allow him to trick people easily.
If he really had one, he would long ago have presented it at one of the many invention
shows, expos, conferences, or simply at the patent office.

If you know every aspect of one of them then i commend your genius, but most likely many don't master everything. Just because your life revolves around PM doesn't mean anothers does. So if someone thought they had an idea for PM and did a search just to make sure they weren't crazy then they might decide not to do it because its been done, yes people are ignorant enough to think that it may already exist.

If you don't believe that then you may be to ignorant to find the secret.

An example would be my ignorant self, I have not formal training or knowledge of magnets, so i have a great idea for a magnet motor. I have never shown any interest in magnets so before i go crazy and start to build my motor i go online and type "magnet motor" in google. HMMMM

Silly seems to be the point of view of the person making the comment. The less points of view that ysomeonecan understand makes them seem kind of silly to me.

The gravity quest will be as psychologicaly as intelectual, its tough to think outside the box when your so busy defending your box.

Listen, that you happen to have come up with a perendev variation on your own is not silly, and your interest in OU is not either.
That is not what I said, and not what I meant.

What I said and meant was:
if a person has an idea for a PM and finds out others have tried the same or similar idea, then it is not automatically a logical
conclusion that the person should not build one. Perhaps, if all previous tests turned out it didn't work, and the devices those
people used were similar enough or better in design, the person could decide not to test it. But if the person is convinced
it will work, and/or if the previous devices were just not identical enough and/or flawerd in some way according to this persons
idea, and/or the person had enough resources to spend, then the person could very well decide to experiment anyway.
To simply think "oh, someone has done that, so there goes my idea out the window" is not necessarily a good conclusion.
After all, and I hate to be corny, the brothers Wright did something that had been done hundreds of times before, and failed
miserably every time, untill those two bicycle builders finally managed to do what even university professors hadn't managed.

I could perhaps have said so without using harsh words.
If you're really that upset about it, my apologies.

But let's get one thing straight: I did not insult you. Nor did I ridicule your OU idea, nor your interest in OU.
