Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

This is exciting!  Congratulations on definite progress.  Does the input current increase?

@EM,

sound's intriguing. Looking forward to a bit more from your lab. BTW, is the core iron wire i.e. insulated wire or just a transformer type of core?

@EM,

Have you tried a multi turn pot for fine tuning? might allow you to get closer without frying your driver.

EM: your EMazing. I'm trying to follow along:

All that has been smoking is my MOSFETs. I do get to hear a high pitched sound out from my toroid. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with the magnet. My scope shots are not nearly as impressive as yours.

We'll keep trying. Just thought I'd let you know that you have got our attention.

Take care.

i_ron,  look one level above this thread  (under Steven Mark's TPU devices)  and you will see the thread, it's towards the bottom.

I took a quick screen grab close to the magical frequency so you can see the crazyness that begins to happen.   Look how the peak start to "bridge" together.   As I get closer and closer to that frequency, more and more peaks begin to bridge together into a solid DC level, it's so awesome,  I have no idea why that's happening quite like that.  Also I should mention the buzzing is there, and the TPU gets loud and hums , and everything gets hot and I start to smell smoke.  It's some interesting resonance that's hit parametricaly,   and oh,  you think the magnet is for looks, not so,  the magnet is crucial,  if I reverse the polarity of it nothing happens,  it biases the internal laminated steel ribon in the area of the sector coils...

I'll tell you more later.....

EM

Hi EM,

That looks familiar! ;)

Try scoping across the transistor--I bet that you are getting a large amount of resonant voltage rise which is overloading the transistor  Either that or what I found was the closer you get to catalyst, large amounts of RFI and EMI are generated that interfere with the control circuits and might be causing your transistor to stay on far longer than it should, thus the smoke.

I am not so sure that parametric resonance is the only way to go; remember that I had similar results without it.  Most likely the odd effects are happening as a byproduct of the correct parametric resonance mode.

Just my $0.02. :)
