Well, many people have made self-sustaining power systems.

One of Kurt Vonnegut's sons supposedly lived on the top of a hill in Jamaica with a wind generator.

My roommate knew a man who lived in a community in the South West US where they ran all their appliances on 12Volt power instead of 120....completely self-sustaining.

Not to rain on the parade, but ANY truly overunity device will not make it to commercial production at humanity's current level of enlightenment.  I state this a a proven fact.

Hmm, define "proven fact."

All I am hearing from you is wild speculations.  The nature of the Internet is such that knowledge is very hard to bottle up.  A perfectly coordinated effort by every single world government and major company to silence free energy inventions is highly far fetched, given they are not at all suppressing free energy research.  This board still operates in full view of every world government and major industry, right?

Well, I registered with this site because there are so many videos on youtube that show working overunity devices (xpensiv's screw motor, smots, that lego one that accelerates really fast, the lutec motor that was on Australian news TV, etc.etc.), and I was wondering about this. If overunity is impossible, why would so many people post fake videos?
Just for a laugh? Is it really that clever or worthwhile to fake something like that?

Ok, well, since this post remains interesting, I just want to say that the post I said was deleted was not, it just got lost in the piles (the term 'newbie' might be appropriate).

I don't see why people think efficient energy production is so strange. Take the bicycle. In 20 minutes pedalling a bicycle I get somewhere that would take 2 hours of walking, *and* I expend much less energy doing it. Why can't this be applied to energy production?

In my other post I suggest just gearing down a giant wheel connected to a generator with a drive shaft. You get way more rotations/time in the smaller cog that way. Combine that with magnetic or low friction bearings...

I want to create a small version of this idea, but I will need money and time and technical skill/knowledge, things I don't have.

If anyone here has a marketable device though, why not hold an exhibition?

I do not think anyone thinks that efficient energy production is strange.  But bicycling is still less energy out than in, even though it is far more efficient than walking, at least on a paved road.  When you start talking more energy out than in, that is where you start to raise eyebrows.

And Loner, that is alot of IFs.  Right now, every experiment done on HHO shows that it takes more energy to create hydrogen than what you can get out of that hydrogen.  If you have something that shows different, please let us see it and you can win the Nobel prize.
