Has any one got any thoughts or suggestions as to why this setup will/will not work as a gravmag wheel ? using a standard setup for the trigate array.

Feedback please  :)

Hi gwhy
I can't see why it wouldn't work at this stage I know the roller will move up into the gate if the gate is setup right and I also know it will move along the gate so at this stage I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Thats my thinking aswell. I will try it anyway cos you never know  ;)  it just might roll.

for anyone who's intrested : the slidey mag thing works on the gravmag wheel as expected it enters the gates at the exact point where there is no push or pull and gets sucked along then falls out again at the exact point where there is no push or pull which rotates the wheel. But still not conclusive if it will run continually because I only have a 4 spoke setup so when the mag gets to the end of the right hand spoke there isn't enough rotation to lift the opposite mag high enough restart the cycle  >:( . so would 6 or maybe 8 spokes make a difference ? I will need to make something from scratch if I'm to use more than 4 spokes hence the reason I'm asking. I think 8 spokes would be better but then i will need a much bigger wheel where as if I get away with using 6 spokes it will make it a bit easier to make.

Spose the first thing to try is setup the gates at 8:30 and 2:30 this may give enough drop from the right as long as the slidey mag can be pushed up the hill, at the moment they are setup 9.00 and 3.00.. what was I thinking  ::)
