A couple of days ago I read in a book that there are 30,000 or so (60,000 the way I read it) cosmic rays hitting every human being on the surface of the earth per minute!These are "hard" mesons."Soft " mesons being electrons that don't make it very far into the earth's atmosphere.So "hard" mesons are like 270 to 700 times more heavy than an electron.The hard mesons are neg,pos,and neutral.I guess there is enough cosmic rays to power a lakhovsky coil after all.Triffid

I still wear a lakhovsky coil around my right ankle most of the time.When I don't wear the ankle coil for a few days sometimes my ankle starts to hurt again.Then I put the coil back on
and the pain lessens or goes away completely the next day.The ankle coil is the only one I wear nowadays.I really don't feel the need for more coils than that.Triffid

Thanks for the updates triffid.

I just tweaked my lower back doing some poorly planed lifting...I have put my trunk coil back on, as my back isn't coming around with rest...although I have been stressing it some.

Here's hoping the coil fixes my back, I already sat out 2 hockey games because of it so far.

I have some more info on cosmic rays which are said to be at least partially powering Lakhovsky coils.Primary electrons constitute 1% of the total cosmic rays hitting the earth.Then the positron(anti-electron)/(normal matter)electron ratio is about 10% of that.So one tenth of 1% is antimatter at least(Antiprotons not included).
Sea Level cosmic ray dose is 30 millirads a year.Sea level ionization is 2.22x10^6 ionpairs/(m)(s).Source---CRC handbook of Chemistry and Physics.64th ed.I never realized before that antimatter might be involved.Too bad we don't run our cars using Lakhovsky coils.Nothing else we might be able to harvest antimatter in space.Triffid
