Oxygen sensor stand-off, and reseting F150 Computer yield poor results

ive gotten my best results by using a map adjuster and leaving the o2 alone,i did try just unplugging it,but then it went slightly down,i assume because of going to open loop. so far i have went from 22 to 31 mpg.i am sure every car will react slightly different.good luck.

Can you suggest some reasonably priced Map adjusters? Some devices are $50 to $75 each, andthey say that one is needed on each O2 sensor. I have 4 of them. Or is this soemthing that attches to the computer?  If you reference a URL that explains the Map Adjuster, I will read up on it before asking any otjer questions.  Thanks,   Joe

taking off or bypassing your O2 sensor makes the motor run lean (use less fuel). This modification is the single source of any improvement in fuel use that you will see with these devices.
