This book is less about aliens and more about spiritual maters.  The main character dies in the beginning of the story, travels the spirit lands, and then channels his experiences through a spirit medium to produce this book.  Originally printed in 1896, this one is possibly the best book I have ever read concerning the astral plane...

Here is another great book, "The Day After Roswell" by Lieutenant Colonel Phillip J. Corso, deceased.  This book covers the industrial boom that occurred after alien technology from the Roswell  was reverse engineered by comanies like Bell Labs, IBM, Texas Instruments, Fairchild Semiconductor, and many, many others.  This device that you are reading this message on was indirectly reversed engineering from alien technologies.  Now I am not saying that the Air Force pulled Pentium chips out of the Roswell craft, but the pieces of technology that were pulled out of that craft were studied extensively.  They were sent to major technology companies where the technologies were copied and put into production.  The primitive devices that these companies came up with were the transistor and the integrated circuit among others.  These primitive devices were developed over several decades to become microprocessors and other highly sophisticated technologies.  High speed computers, super fast processors and the internet are all direct result of alien intervention in our society.  Here is a link to the book, "The Day After Roswell"
