But the people in power haven't EARNED their money, THEY take it by force (sometimes economic force is irresistible, like Exxon's $3,000,000/hour in Q1 '08).
Energy on this planet is a virtual monopoly, decades of dumbed-down science curriculum in classrooms the world over has left us a society that must engineer by consensus (look at how many people it takes to design a car these days) when the sciences get so fragmented that there are hundreds of specialties, no one person could EVER hope to achieve even imagination to the levels of someone like Tesla.

When the lust for money is no longer able to be met by the masses, do not hesitate for one second to believe that the pumps will run dry, the grid will be switched off and the water/sewer systems will stop flowing... This is why "free" energy, or more importantly INDIVIDUAL energy generation will be vital in the years to come.

As for the aliens... I am NOT in the confirmed skeptics group, I am also NOT in the "warm fuzzy love and light" group either. It's funny that one of the recent channeling's mentioned "funny rainbows" because last week I saw an upside-down rainbow... so did my wife and our neighbors (wish I had the camera on me)... in almost 40 years on the planet I never seen a rainbow like it, started in the sky, dipped down, and went back up to the sky... same prismatic coloring, just ODD orientation... so, If I see a ship, I'll believe it!
I will not however believe blindly in their connection to religion or their benevolence until shown so. IF they are supposedly the same figures that dominate religion, AND they have always possessed the ability of "first contact" and human intervention, then they are a little LATE. There were many more appropriate times for some intervention (the black plague, the holocaust, Hiroshima/Nagasaki, heck.. either of the world wars or many conflicts we had where the death toll is in the millions,what about the natural disasters?). IF they are coming NOW it's to serve their own interests.
And what's the stuff about this being a "seed" planet... is 10/14/08 the Harvest?

The skeptics will deny a ship hovering right over their head, the "believers" will believe even if 10/14 is a no-show...but for the rest of us, take any appearance at face value. If they are "out there" and could have helped sooner, why didn't they? If I were a "galactic commander" I would have picked the 1960's to show up because then there would have been mass acceptance, not NOW when the world is jaded by decades of governmental/corporate abuse.

I didn't think of it at the time, but my cell phone has a camera (doh)... I'll definitely snap a shot of any more wierd rainbows....

I'm with you man, but your getting those "people in power" confused with the backbone of america.  The producers.  I'm talking about the millions of men who took the risk, started their dream business and made it work.  The men who put in those long hours to make sure they succeed and refused to waist away watching the boob tube and living their live on a couch.  The men who are providing jobs to the people who don't have the drive to do it themselves.  The men who are getting theived by both the people in power and the welfare bums living off the taxes they have paid and the countless regulations placed against their business.  If you take money from the "people in power" you will also be taking money from these men who have worked hard for it.

If not for these men neither the "people in power" or the people living off the government will have their life source.  Who will give them jobs, who will give them stocks to bet on, who will come up with better products/services in the name of compitiition?  Everything will be done half-assed because there will be no drive to do any better.  Go work for any government job where the fear of loosing that job is minimal.  Its not a pretty sight.

yes, perhaps I should have clarified that, the Power brokers are those million dollar a month (plus) slime who never did anything but wear a suit and gobble up all the "backbone" small businesses.

It's not that all people don't have the "drive" to succeed, the ones that would do something if they could lack the financial means because of what I like to call Distributed Indentured Servitude... Houses and cars are way overpriced, so you need a mortgage and a car loan (or two since both spouses need to work these days)... then if you have kids you help pay absolutely disgusting tuition bills in the hopes that your children will have a better life than you, when in reality they will be like you only tens of thousands of dollars in the hole to start. add to that the impending death blow of energy deregulation by 2010 and you have a generation of people who are not lazy, just beaten down!

My working life started out in a machine shop (lost that via NAFTA), then to my dream job troubleshooting test equipmant and programming robotics at a big optoelectronic manufacturer (also lost to NAFTA) where decades later I am back in a machine shop for about the same pay as back then... beat d o w n!

I keep my hypotheses, experiment when time and money provides... maybe someday something comes of it... maybe not. OU research reminds me of working with optoelectronics, you learned something new every DAY.

I'm not sure you would find anyone on this forum who lacks drive. we're all a unique breed ranging from basement tinkerers (like me) to full blown engineers trying to learn from eachother and eventually change the world for the better (not that I wouldn't enjoy seeing the energy cartels crumble).

or providing services, such as knowledge or skilled labor.


the buyer decides the MAXIMUM VALUE, of the goods/services.
so a build-up of fiat "wealth", is impossible.
because it is impossible to squeeze more value out of something, than what the buyer is willing to pay.

and since there is no money, the buyer can only "buy" it, with goods/services of their own.
that forces the seller, to have something that the buyer finds valuable.



the result of the above, is that the "success" of a person, depends on having something, that other people find valuable.

a pleiadian tailor who designs one of a kind, in demand elven pimp-suits, would be wealthy.
but only as wealthy as his elven-pimp-suits are desired.
and only as many suits as he is willing to make.

a resource scavenger who has an advanced technique for mineral extraction and refinement, would be as valuable as the demand of the elements he extracts.
or he might trade the knowledge of his techniques, to the right people.

a musician band who produces the most in-demand noise in the galaxy, would be as wealthy as what people are willing to pay for their CD's. or for life performances.
as usual, the band members would have a large coven of "groupies". always willing to "do favors" for their favorite stars.


there must be thousands of things that are in demand.
but the thing in greatest demand of all, is spiritual advancement.
because each layer of reality, is more pleasant to live in than the one below it.
and the only way to climb up to sweeter heights, is spiritual advancement.

Are you some kind of moron?  Money is just a medium to ease exchange between parties who have desirable goods, but do not happen to desire each other's goods.  For example:  A grows apples, B makes bricks, and C makes cookies.  C wants some apples from A.  A does not like cookies because he is on a diet.  B likes cookies though, but C does not want any bricks.  What to do, what to do?  Oh, well B buys cookies from C with money, and C then uses that money to buy apples from A.  Notice that each party must still produce desirable goods, even B, who must have sold some bricks to get that money in the first place.
