Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

individual aliens strongly prefer, to make everything that they need for themselves.

for themselves, and for their family structures (a "podlet", of no more than 64 people.)

everyone is taught how to produce what they "need". so demand is mostly for "extra things".
such as personal hobbies. or large projects that benefit the entire society.

since everyone has what they need, everyone tends to be generous with their time and effort.

being free from the struggle just to survive, also tends to make them bored at times.
so they have no end of time and energy, to turn into useful things.

it is the exact opposite, of how our world is run.
where everyone is taught to rely on a system, that the rich and powerful control.

instead of people being trained and equipped to produce their own stuff, factories do it.
instead of people managing their own food sources, farms do it.
instead of people doing what they want to do with their lives, people waste most of their time on an unneccessary "job". to earn "money".

money to buy required things, that people SHOULD have been producing for themselves in the first place!

society have been intentionally broken!
in such a way, that it can be controlled!

and it is oh so unneccessary.
because there are better ways.

and as soon as the corrupt assholes can no longer suppress them, these ways will become the preferred method of mankind.

The basics of life are food, water, and shelter.  Are you suggesting we return to agrarian culture?

You make some interesting claims regarding alien life.  Iââ,¬â,,¢ll leave those alone, as I would rather wait to learn about alien life directly from them if they choose to contact us.  To me, it seems as if there is some conflicting information regarding the nature of the aliens/brothers.  If they are at a higher plane of existence, I would doubt they need to barter/buy anything.

I do not agree with you assessment of money.  Money is in fact a barter tool.  It has existed in some form since about 1,000 years BC.  It is the natural extension of barter, because as society became more sophisticated, establishing relative values becomes too complicated and you need to allow the ââ,¬Å"marketââ,¬Â to handle that process.

I would argue, that attention should be paid to banking.  The first banks were established by the Knights Templar.  History follows an interesting path from that point forward.  Credit has become a central component of our modern world.  It may be good, it may be bad (like most human inventions).  Lending represents an allocation of resources (investment).  If implemented fairly, it can work very well.  If implemented poorly, it can harm everyone involved.

and if you actually read the article, you must have missed
"While one-to-one bartering is still practiced between individuals and businesses on an informal basis, organized barter exchanges have developed to conduct third party bartering. The barter exchange operates as a broker and bank and each participating member has an account which is debited when purchases are made, and credited when sales are made. With the removal of one-to-one bartering, concerns over unequal exchanges are reduced.

Modern trade and barter has developed into a sophisticated tool to help businesses increase their efficiencies by monetizing their unused capacities and excess inventories. The worldwide organized barter exchange and trade industry has grown to an $8 billion a year industry and is used by thousands of businesses and individuals. The advent of the internet and sophisticated relational database software programs has further advanced the barter industry's growth. Organized barter has grown throughout the world to the point now where virtually every country has a formalized barter and trade network of some kind. Complex business models based on the concept of barter are today possible since the advent of Web 2.0 technologies."

apparently US citizens are not intelligent enough to manage their own assets from what i see, which is amusing, since money is the thing they value most but they can't be bothered to educate themselves on how to properly use it. so they pay someone else to do it for them, this coupled with the "someone else" being ready and eager to exploit the mindless sheep and you end up with the mess the US economy is in now.

i thought democracy was the worst system out there, or was it capitalism? i love seeing people take someone else's words for their own.

I don't understand this argument.  Nobody said barter doesn't have some place in the modern world.  It just doesn't scale all that well without the introduction of currency and a market that allows for the immense diversity in our world.  $8billion is not a very big number, and you need to understand that most of this is business to business (b2b) trading of commercial goods, not consumer to consumer (c2c).

Also, you are implying that US citizens are too stupid to manage their money, but yet somehow they could manage the complexities of barter?  I'm not sure what country you are from, but are people more intelligent there?  Do they using banking and financial services?  Do you?

Interesting conversation.  My questions imply no disrespect, only curiosity.

The first banks were established by the Knights Templar.

Sorry Jeff, banks are much older than this, they existed in some form or another since Baylonian times. Romans, Phoenicians, Egyptians they all had them in one form or other often in the form of money changers and money lenders. Babylonians actually used cheques which could be converted to currency as the need arose and freed merchants from traveling with large amounts of currency as a guard against robbery.

The modern term bankrupt comes from the Latin banca rotta, meaning a bank with no money.
