I'm not gay personally, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

With  who? 


Sometime it harshes a buzz or three, but whenever I see people tossing love and religion all about, I can never resist tossing the 'gay' issue into the mix.

I hope equal rights for gay people are included in this luv/scripture fest.

Personally  I don't agree  with  much of what we  have been taught  about  being  gay .
I don't believe that there  is anything like  a gay gene .


I do believe that the  gay movement  has been working hard   for  at least  30 years to " recruit" gays .
The  teachings   that  some people are born gay is  part of this recruiting .
The  sexual  response is learned .....  you  will tend to  be  excited in the  future to what you have found exciting in the past .

Personaly  I don't  want to hear  alot about it  if a friend is  gay .
Someone  being gay doesn't bother me  ...........but I don't want to hear all the  gory details  .

What I hate  about  the gay thing is when  I meet  someone  and he  seems friendly then later I realise  he is  being friendly  because we are on a date  ......
and  I am the woman.
It makes it  kind of hard to  trust  friendly men
This kind of thing used to happen to me alot .

For me the importance of this topic is about One's sense of reality.

If a person believes the religions-of-the-world versions of reality, what will happen if these aliens show up and are able to prove that the 'God-is-everything' version of reality is correct.?

I only wonder if those who at this moment do not wonder if God is 'All there is', then what will happen to their psyche(s)?

It is a lot of psyches. Billions of people believe Jehovah is the only God. They believe fearing the Lord God Jehovah is the same as loving Him.

Will they completely freak out?

I think if everyone has at least considered this other possibility, then the future may be easier for all.

I do not think it is necessary for anyone to change their opinion.

I do think it is necessary for everyone to think about it.

What IF there were no such thing as sin?
What IF the words Heaven and Hell were to become irrelevant?
What IF the definition of Evil were shown to be the act of hiding from humans the fact that they are gods themselves?

IMHO opinion, it is not necessary to come to a conclusion about this, but it IS necessary to think about it.

The  human  mind  has a huge  abiltiy  to  see things as we choose to see them .
If the ETs  show up   some people  will  be totally  sure that the ship  is something like a huge  supersonic  weather  balloon.

I  wonder how  the  idea of  fearing God got  started .... Fear and love just don't mix .

That would  mean that everyone would have an open mind ......that would be great but i don't see it happening  any time soon .

i think that the part of the brain (and the hormones) that influence sexuality, are heavily influenced by chance.


at puberty, everyones body rolls some dice.
with straight being 1, and maximum-gay being 100.


everyone rolls somewhere between 1 and 100. to determine their raw sexual potential.

this potential may or may not be noticed by the person. but experiences and environmental factors, may shape the raw potential.


this raw sexual potential is slowly lost, as the person gets older.
by the time the person is 30 something, they have little of it left.

by then, it is very hard to form new sexual interests.
even if they can discover old potentials, that were set in stone earlier in their life.


of course all of the above may vary, depending on lots of biological factors. but i think that is how it works in general.

Most people have had several lives on earth (some hundreds or thousands), in both sexes. It usually doesn't switch every other life, but there is a tendency to have a balance of the two over "time". One life is not exactly the same "you" as in another life â€" it's more like a different (but to a degree overlapping) aspect or fragment of the "real you" ("soul"). And, for example, several aspects (or parts of them) of previous lives can combine in a new life, which makes memories of past lives so confusing (and mostly not verifiable). The whole issue gets more complicated if one considers that these aspect don't have to incarnate in a sequence but can do it at any time in any order and also at the same times â€" so a past life might actually be a future life, and so on...

So the "real you" includes both sexes equally, but it was easier to get certain (and more intensive) experiences to have a physical body of one kind (besides of other practical properties). However, people are now starting to integrate both male and female aspects, where bisexuality is only a part of it â€" it's more of becoming a whole, complete being. A human who doesn't need another person, but still can choose to be with others but without having a need for or dependence on them.

So basically the orientation doesn't really matter in a spiritual sense, everybody is all of them already. Sometimes the planning and preparation of a certain life doesn't work out exactly with the availability of a body of the desired, sometimes it's intentional to get a certain kind of "mismatched" experience, sometimes it's just a (non-permanent) choice... The "real you" is all of them anyways...
