Is that really a surprise? Dingel claimed he had the technology in 1969. He has been running the investor scam for at least thirty years with no results. If you search around you'll find articles from the late 1980's with the same claims.

At some point, if you rip off enough investors one of them is going to ensure you end up in jail.

I couldnt find any other source that mention hes going to jail for fraud.
