Greetings guruji

This design has had several reincarnations and has not worked. You will need something else to move a slide weight device. Here is one I did.

Keep the mind going for you will do many ideas on what may work. It is the order of things, and most of us agree the search is perpetual.

Hi AB Hammer thanks for your reply. Can you please post that design of yours cause it cannot be seen on the video?.
You said that one need something else to move a slide. I think that's because of alot of friction.
Maybe if one use certain slides of those used in drawers maybe it would be efficiently good.
There are slides with bearings in them. These too should do the job.
One should do the weights of certain size to the wheel I think to keep going.
OK let's keep on experimentng truth will be found. :)
Bye bye.

Well here is a closeup photo of part of the device which should help you. But I will tell you it will only help with slide design for it is a non runner in that form. I have done sever shifter types for this slide unit and I have more to try. Also the problem with cams are that that the friction I speak of is the amount of weight trying to use the cam to lift itself. Not saying cams cant be useful, but you have to understand what your need are and where they may truly work best.

I'll just step in here with my usual reminder that Gravity Wheels cannot work, on first principles. It's sort of like trying to add 3 plus 3 and expecting, someday, if only I do it enough, or with apples instead of oranges, I will someday get 7 as the answer.

It's painfully clear, especially from the above posts, that creative and intelligent and highly skilled people are just wasting time, money, effort, and creative juices on these attempts, that have no hope at all of succeeding.

That's all--I won't bother the gravity wheel folks any more, but it sure seems like a powerful waste to me. But it's your time and money, you can do with it what you want to, of course.

Carry on---
