16 turns for the primary and 18 for the secondary.
I don't know exact properties of the toroid, it is ferrite 7.5 cm external diameter and 5.5 cm internal diameter, 2 cm thick.

Could be ferrite, iron oxide, iron tape, iron powder and other exotic materials. ;]
