Speed of break is not important. Tesla had worked for a few years with rotary interrupter made by two opposite rotating plates with spokes. The Marconi stolen it and patented but Tesla said it is not important , more important is not the high rate of break but synchronism  of two oscillator circuits. Also spark gap is a waste of power.

Why don't you try to make a make/break ,a simple self inductor circuit  and see the difference if you try it in slow and fast make break.


well, maybe it depends on what circuit you are designing. 
but we are talking power amplification here remember? not a frequency cleaning.

Oh yes, I almost forgot.

Has everyone forgotten that static electricity is different than normal voltage in circuit operation?  I just had to mention this as MANY people are forgetting the difference, and quite a few are actually reversing their properties.  To put it simply, static electricity is the "Electron Charge" where voltage is the measurement of the EMF, which stands for the Electro-Motive FORCE.  (Not Number of electrons...)

I just get frustrated when I see those two constantly exchanged when they really are two different things.  Number of electrons piled in a spot is the resultant EFFECT of the EMF.  That should make it simple to understand how voltage can move around with virtually no current.  Lets keep it real, OK?

(Yes, I am ignoring magnetic effects there, but maybe someone will understand the implications?)

Oh Well, I just had to vent a bit as so few seem to grasp how voltage and current can get out of phase or be somewhat independent.  To me, that seems to be a required bit of info for all of this stuff...

But we're not in DC circuits... most are AC.. As such, electromagnetic and electrostatic both play a role.  You can't get electromagnetic from one place to another without going through electrostatic, and you cannot get electrostatic from one place to another without electromagnetic.

Joachim Rieders 100DM(Deutsche Mark)/2KW production-costs statement to today production-costs which are 1/10 (condensator+Ormecon platine technics) means 10DM/2KW or +/- 5Euros/2KW production-costs for the netgrid-infeeder .
Market price will then be maximal +/- 50Euros/2KW included IVA/UmSt tax.
With nonstop working electricity generator ( 1 year = 8766 hours and 2KW power production) there will be enough e-power produced
and more  -per household :electriciy for kitchen and heating - is not wishfull.
