Sorry for my ignorance, i never see this circuit before?


Its just my crude attempt to make this '' one way tank circuit'' idea of Sir Tito.

Any help in this direction?

Since my other projects are on indefinite hold I have returned to this one. I do believe the Tesla patents for currents of high frequency and potential have merit for OU purposes. IMHO there are several key conditions that must be met in order to proceed.

The first is that the discharge of the condensers through the primary must be oscillatory, which is determined by the relationship of inductance, capacitance, resistance and current between the condensers and primary coil.
The primary winding should be 2 to 4 turns of heavy gauge wire with a high strand count.
The choking coils should be high self inductance with a high energy storage capacity, bi-filar.

The big key is the oscillatory transformer primary circuit. For one discharge of the condensers you will get many pulses through the primary coil with just as many high voltage pulses from the secondary. This is the energy amplification part.

The discharge current oscillates between two condensers with the low resistance primary coil between them. The current of the oscillation decays at a rate determined by the resistance of this primary circuit so the condensers only partially discharge. We do not have to recharge the condensers from zero. Tesla said the shorting of the circuit should be so rapid that the iron in the self-induction coils will only partially demagnetize.

Simplified, we have a transmission circuit where we are boosting the voltage to a high level and frequency, with many free output pulses, and then later we can transform it back down for use.

Cadman, I think you have to merge this oscillation with ordinary power to get an effect. You can do this by twisting output wires together.

To sustain oscillation this factor must be preserved :


4*L/C > R^2  or better 4*L/C >> R^2


this is also the reason why Tesla eliminated distributed capacitance and talked about large inductance. (but it is not necessary)


Another is antenna or extra coil gain :


E=E0*w*L/R where w*L/R is Q factor and w=2*Pi*f
