Dave If you really knows the simple so called secret of Tesla you will laugh.  Maybe you are correct for  naming it A vector. But what I called it is Nikola Tesla Impulse  Discharge Technology. Have you tried to charge a Condenser with DC or AC and discharge it on the coil the same on the video you link.

The video shows how did Tesla experiment on his laboratory long time ago. Tesla's secret is not actual secret, it is a common sense. Tesla has cleverly used the Faraday Law of Induction on Coils and Capacitor Combination which resulted to Self Powered Resonant LC Tank= Energy Amplification. This is a good information Tesla used DC to fully charged Cap, Discharged the DC into a coil to create a perfect wave of Sine Wave. I don't know which is this damped wave or undamped wave? There is another situation when Dr. Dave will use High Freq or Capacitor Discharge on that video.
