Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

There is alot of good documentation on this subject . Yet to me it seems a very good way to go, Stay away from the poles and give the system alot of freedom, let the "strings find there path" so to say. Am I beaten a dead horse here or what, FYI, I have read all the threads on it. I'm just exploring it with a twist of build, thanx for ur input   .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXGK3D3E2xY

Hi X00013,
Subconsiously you're making tiny adjustments with your hands that get it spining and keep it spinning. You can see this in your video. My guess is if you fix the two components in place rigidly, you'll get some inital spinning as you release things and then it'll all stop. Jean-Louis tried this and placed his conclusions here:

But try with the components fixed in place anyway. It should be easy enough to clamp the pencil lead holder under something and maybe stick your other magnet to a screw head and screw the screw into something fixed.

@Steven ( much respect) , Thanks fot the reply, I agree with you about my video hand shaking " to much caffine". I have fixed the build in it's crude element, but what gets me in my mind is just this as i will attempt to describe with words, the original hamel spins with the movement of hands, yes we agree, like with any magnet motor, the sticky gate blocks rotation, in all findings , the hamel concept is the most simple self correcting system to overcome this, yes it stops at the gate but the gate is "natural" and if the device is machined to the atom? of an inch, and the neos are bare with no steel on the lam , then you have your virgin Hamel device vid.  What if the gate is only a million of an inch thick and surely the momentum can overcome this wall? That's what i am exploring. when the object is fixed and the entire device is machined as close as to an atom as we can get it, yet give it the freedom the universe has to make everything around us go round and round. then i feel we will have true answers, Thta's what I'm working on, only because with all due respect I have not seen any such builds. Thanks again, Great bunch of people here. Love ya all

Not yet machining, Just doing wha'st already been done.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fR3s8ioTPo

Well, sure. If you "machine to the atom" by which I think you mean, get everything perfect, eliminate all unbalance, get rid of friction, put it in a vacuum, eliminate eddy current losses, etc.
Sure. Then, give it a push, and it will go for a Long Time indeed. But it still won't be FE or OU.

I'm glad to see the experiment. Keep at it, there are things about magnets that are yet to be discovered.
