the article talks about the cathode being made of the stainless steel brush... which suggests they were just using some rods before like the most simple electrolysis experiments with the 2 nails

so I wonder what would happen if  we were to add neutral plates and/or some different plate designs like in the normal electrolysis HHO experiments... it would create the higher surface area and maybe even increase the production

I would be interested in seeing how it is set up and what the output currently is
