Can a TRI GATE go up a ramp and fall in to another same type of ramp to continue its movement in a looped fashion????????????

Like this one?  ;D;

I would they just put a V-track on the ramp and no track on the falling side. One must try to have the hole before the V-track ends.

no not like that but like this...see drawing attachment. the drawing you showed is just a regular smot ramp which is nothing like a tri gate. a smot don't have a neutral point.

the red circle is the roller magnet.

the blue lines is the tri gate magnetic track.

the black lines are non-magnetic

Ergo

As far as I know it's possible but as soon as you close the loop into circular it stops working.

Hi,

A normal SMOT is able to work through several ramps, see this link for 3 consecutive ramps:

http://www.gnucash.org/mirrors/mirrors/jnaudin.free.fr/html/3smtlnk.htm   (here the video in the bottom still works)

Original Naudin pages are here on SMOT: http://jnaudin.free.fr/html/smotidx.htm

Re on the tri gate:  I have seen at least one video on youtube where the roller went up a small inclination ramp (about 5 degree) but obviously the tri gate has no as strong force for acceleration like a SMOT has,  though the strength of the magnets surely influence this.
