Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I'm sure for many of you, this is old new, so forgive the repetition, however the fact that CF made it to 60 Minutes, is big news.  Here's a synopsis of the show and was also posted in Mylow's motor forum.

It was VERY encouraging from several points.

1. 60 Minutes did a great job covering the story that CF is real.

2. They reviewed the history of CF, even going so far as going to England's
countryside to meet with Martin Fleischman, one of the two renounced
electro-chemist scientists that were disgraced by their ever so smart peers.
Even today, their names remain as a joke, even though 20 years later the proof
to validate their work exists. Sound like HJ and Mylow????? There are numerous
labs throughout the world trying to solve the unreliability of being able to
repeatably make it work so as to commercialize it, even though the public still
doesn't know or believe it works.

3. Even today, 90% of the so called experts are still in denial of CF results.
Garwin, one of the fathers of the atomic bomb, remains a skeptic. His criticism
comes from his knowledge of physics and NOT from first hand taking the time to
see for himself as 60 minutes has done. His expectation is that it must be
something that can be consistently reproduced, otherwise he's not a believer.
60 minutes hopefully has changed that perspective many other, but Garwin remains
defiantly negative. (flat world thinker)

4. SRI Int'l in Menlo Park, CA (does extensive work for our gov't) has been
able to produce over unity results ( over unity results of 25X) many times, yet
the answer as to why still eludes them. The critics claim they don't know how
to measure electricity!! At least you can't say the critics are paid nay sayers
of the gov't since the gov't is backing CF big time. So 60 minutes set out to
find an expert on measuring!

5. I didn't like to hear the interviewed scientist talk about in the future,
there could be a one for one replacement of fuel rods in a nuclear reactor. It
implies that the idea of a home CF generator wouldn't happen, yet they were
talking about powering your car with this technology. Go figure.

6. The technology is essentially very simply, much as the HJ/Mylow motor.
However there are some issues (20 years worth)(30 for Mylow) that still need to
be ironed out (ditto with Mylow's and other's replication motors). He's talking
20 years out before we'll see major changes using CF. Better later than never.

7. It was stated that D2O (Deuterium) which comes from water contains 10 times
the energy as gasoline, and is one of three of the main ingredients. I knew
there was a reason we have so much water. Palladium, which is a precious metal,
will no doubt have the big oil companies fighting over the mining rights for
this commodity. The 3rd ingredient is an electric current.

8. The bad news is that they can't "consistently" (at best, 70% of the time)
make the reaction happen, the heat may often be delayed by a significant amount
of time, and the amount of energy output isn't always the same. The good news
is that they think it's related to the processing of the metal. I can remember
hearing this same story when flat screens were being developed.

9. They approached "The American Physical Society" (The nation's top physics
organization) and asked them to recommend them to an independent scientist.
They got Rob Duncan, Vice Chancelor of Research at the University of Missouri,
who's an expert in measuring energy. There's that measuring issue being
addressed. He began his interview of CF as a non-believer. So, 60 minutes sent
him to Israel, to meet with a company called Energetics Technologies Inc.
(http://www.energetics.com/), a firm that has recorded the greatest energy gains
yet from CF. After 2 days of Q&A of what they were doing and how they arrived
at their results, he didn't trust their measurements, their math, so he did his
own. To his surprise, he had to admit on 60 minutes that they in fact ARE
producing excess heat/energy!!! He stated that he thought he'd never say that.
(He must not be keeping up with the CF news).

10. The Pentagon's Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) has an internal memo
stating there's "no doubt that anomalous excess heat is produced in these
experiments."

11. The Pentagon is continuing to fund more research at the U.S. Naval Research
Lab and SRI.

12. During Fleischman's interview, he held in his hand an improved version of
his CF device that he "had" been working on. When asked about how he feels
about what happened, he remarked, "it was a wasted opportunity". Though his
body is enduring many old age issues, he was excited at the potential that his
work has created, even though he and his lab partner have endured ridicule from
all the so called experts throughout the world. Maybe some day they will
eventually be given their due recognition with a Nobel Prize for their
discovery.

I'm sure everyone reading this can relate this story to Howard Johnson and
Mylow's efforts. That being, the work was taken away from the creator(s) and
carried on in the labs by scientists who were on the government payrolls, all
the while the creator(s) were robbed of their work (never offered a job to
continue their research) and disgraced for their contribution!!! Life isn't
always nice nor fair.

Also interesting is Dr. Fleischman's statement that he regrets having called it "fusion".  This begs the question;  if it isn't fusion, then where does the energy come from?

Great writeup/recap on the details of the segment for those that missed it.  I'm glad I watched!
(However, to equate the CF research to the Mylow nonsense is... silly.)
But it does show the importance of having independent, verifiable replication.
With the billions of $$ being spent on hot fusion, and the hopes that maybe some day 30 years down the road it might be successful, the relative lack of research into cold fusion is... disappointing.

Do you have any other links/info to share on CF research?  Thanks.

Might it just be just a chemical reaction like a battery? (not a nuclear reaction?)  They stated the palladium is consumed in the process....

Hello all,

if you want tp play with cold fusion just google: jln labs. There you can learn a lot of cold fusion stuff.

I worked on this and I can say that it works.
