Thanks Butch for the video. I don?t see how this clip is demonstrating overunity. Indeed, an increase is seen of something (don?t quite see what is being measured) from 14.9 to 19.9 units of something with the increase of the rate of rotation, judging from the pitch of the sound. I?m afraid that is not enough for one to get convinced that more energy has been produced than spent. Do you happen to have data for the input energy spent during the operation compared with the energy produced during that operation?

Excellent! Looks marvelous, quite ingenious as well. Knew you'd get one working sooner or later, congrats Butch! 

Omnibus, The system works like so: The rotor is attracted through the 'ramp' [Or flux spreader] you see as an ARC of metal connected to the coil. Once the rotor reaches the end of the ramp, the coil actuates to either nullify the flux or reverse it to repel or allow the rotor to pass, bypassing the notorious 'sticky spot'. In this motor it seems the magnets are within the rotor, with the flux flowing out into the rotor legs. The magnetic ramp becomes essentially part of the rotor, with the close proximity. Now, I think the coil can be used as a trigger/generator for timing and power generation, as the rotor enters the ramp the coil receives a flux change due to the magnet's presence and accordingly pulses at the appropriate time.

Right now I am not sure of the significance of the three other posts, but the 'ramp' would/could be repeated for each post, for more torque.

As far as the power goes, I think you'll find the electrical power required to keep it running is less than the mechanical output of the motor!

This sounds really interesting. Unfortunately, no experimental data has yet been shown for the input vs. output power and exactly how the measurements have been done.

Also, I?m still not quite clear about the principle. From your explanation I gather that it is only the device shown in ?motor4.avi? running by itself (with periodical electric input to the coil). In video ?2-13-06 004.avi?, however, it appears that the rotor is driven externally and output from the coil is being measured.
