1. The length of the wire in primary coil is 1/4 of length of the wire in secondary coil

or

2. The height of the primary coil is 1/4 of height of the wire in secondary coil ( if tesla coil stands upwards )

It is always about wire length.

How about some food for those of us who are stubborn and keen on achieving the same experimental results as the STAAAR team. e.g. clarifying the instructions in Reply #9510

Due language barriers it is impossible to write clear instructions. Not enough, it is even harder to get right type of ferrite for working experiment. You should play around and see our guiding hints in those long hours videos...

How do we measure the length of the wire in primary and secondary coil?

Do we measure length with connecting  leads or just wire turns only on primary and secondary coil?

This is to Roberto.. I have just posted a video clip that my resolve the HV issue with your device.. Please see as it may be a very inexpensive option for the HV as it cost me $5.00 US.. There is a description below the clip on YouTube..

Ps I also posted a clip that shows a  brass piece of metal that is responsive to a magnet.. As you all know brass is a mixture of copper and tin and it's never effected by a magnetic field, that it's not able to be stuck to a magnet.. I just want to point out that this was done by an application of a magnetic field just like Floyd (Sparky) Sweet had done with the VTA as T. Bearden has shown in the video of the coil tube from the 1980's ..
