Yes, and there has been for over 200 years.  It is called the Maximum Power Transfer Theorem, see:

The principle has to do with the fact that all real DC power sources have internal resistances and AC power sources have internal complex impedances.  This internal resistance/impedance always wastes power inside of the source. 
In the extreme limiting case when the load's resistance is zero then ALL of the power generated by the source is wasted inside the source's internal resistance/impedance.

Unfortunately the majority of experimenters on this forum had forgotten about the Maximum Power Transfer principles

Also, many posters here routinely measure the average Amperes and Volts and multiply them together, thinking that the result represents Watts (power) and forget that this is true ONLY for Direct Current (DC).

The smarter ones (e.g.: Thane Heins) measure RMS Amperes and RMS Volts and multiply their product by cos(phi) (where phi is the phase shift between current and voltage), thinking that the result represents Watts (power) and forget that this is true ONLY for pure sinusoid current and voltage waveforms - failing miserably with non-sinusoid waveforms.

From there is only a short step to unsubstantiated OU claims

Because the Yoke is dangerous if used correctly.

So we have a working OU device that the inventors are afraid to develop further themselves or even help others to develop it... even at a distance.

Hmm, aren't nuclear reactors even more dangerous?
...yet that didn't scare off their developers from working on them and document them exhaustively or answer questions about them.

So actually not so many were able to produce over 100%..
may be 99 % who claim they have OU, have measurement errors,  it gets clearer...  thats why they get lost because they would fear to come back after the too much ridicoulous claims they have made..!

and if TK works it is so difficult to know whats his secret that my intuition tells me this will see light, but not in the near future...

Yup and I don't see you building one do I? There is a reason these developers build and we don't. There are inherent dangers from that process. They even regulate who can go on the premises. ? So your argument is not valid.


I am sure if the design didn't have such bad results on the people in the room it would be going better.
