Hence, how exactly does the secondary coil pump the charge (out of the ground)? This would be nice to find out, wouldn't it?

Theoretically: The helical coil is connected to high voltage, this creates an electrostatic (actually electrodynamic) field build up in the proximity of the secondary coil. The positive field attracts the negative electrons (from ground) and moves them in the secondary coil towards the helical coil (right-hand side in the 2004 video). As soon as the voltage is high enough the spark gap fires and the field is abruptly neutralized. Now all electrons floating back to the ground, but since this is a coil not a solid metal object, the electrons are forced somehow (via induction?) to go through the lamps, not straight away back to the ground. This is repeated 200.000 times a second. Thus the spark gap behaves like a ramp generator (as depicted in the pdf).

So, someone has a clue how to make this work practically?

@Itsu: very nice video about your Kacher experiments. I tried windings around a 490 pF high voltage capacitor without much success. But I still have to get a EPKOS spark gap or build a spark gap myself. I will also look for these nice car starter capacitors and micro wave oven capacitors.

Inspired by Woopy's experiments I did some tests today with my latest Kacher. It is all about a 37 turns winding around the 12 Volt battery. See the attached photos and drawings.

Connecting the Kacher to earth ground gives me a headache:

It seems that connecting whatever comes from the winding around the battery to ground is very important. But when I connect the end of the secondary to ground nothing spectacular happens. It seems to help a little to connect the minus pole of the battery to ground.

It is very counter productive to connect the Kacher (secondary or minus pole of battery) and whatever comes from the winding around the battery to ground at the same time. This stops oscillation.

I now use a 12 Volt battery, which is much better than a power supply. My power supply tried to suppress current backflow from the circuit (from the back EMF of the primary) which caused strange effects, like the display of the power supply indicating a higher Voltage than set when the circuit was running and oscillations from the power supply being induced into the circuit.

My Kacher shows different frequencies depending on what I connect to the secondary:

When the secondary is left open, I get about 1400 KHz (but even a short wire like an antenna lowers the frequency to about 1200 KHz). Connecting the end of teh secondary to ground or to a big metal mass produces about 980 KHz. When I put a CFL tube with a 56 pF parallel capacitor from the secondary to the minus pole I get about 500 KHz. Using a 160 pF parallel capacitor lowers the frequency even further and causes up to 1 Ampere power draw. The winding around the battery has no effect on frequency, no matter what I connect there. (The parallel capacitor is very important to light the CFL tube brightly.)

What I want to do is lowering the power consumption of the Kacher as much as possible. Then I want to try harvesting all the stray radiations showing up in and around the Kacher (like around the battery and around the coil, I like Itsu's copper pipe with a slit in the centre of his coil).

Some people posted that ground connection is important. At the moment I guess that the Kacher should not be connected to ground (should freely swinging), but the stray radiations should be led to ground when doing something with them.

Kapanadze secret finally disclosed.

We need two SOS generators (avalanche generators) with very sharp rising and falling eadges. Generators are in phase diference of 180^o degrees. We need to excite copper tube and coaxial cable which Z=50-75 ohm with very sharp and high voltage pulses with amplitude 3.73KV. The lenght of coax is much greather than lenght of tube and coax was reeled up on him.
Phase speed of pulses in tube and coax are different so is a group delays. Varying the lenght of coax winding we vary the phases in tube and coax. The goal is to rich soliton wave with maximum standing wave inside tube. Simple in other words the goal is to make such transition so the high voltage and high frequency amplitudes of pulses will be transfomed to low frequency low amplitude with extremely high current peaks. The stiking current peaks can reach maga ampers. We need to trim phase delay and of coupse mutual coupling between tube and coax to get maximum output current.

This is not a easy task but also it's not an impossible task. Some knowledges of spreading TEM waves across waveguides are needed but most important is to have vector analyzer to see what really happening here. In fact we have deal with Tesla Scalar Waves or Longitudinal striking wave. The goal is to make stable Scalar standing wave or in other words compression wave. Our goal is not self-powering for the first time but estimation of properly physical model.We want to extract power from copper atom using striking scalar wave from ether. Or simple we want to organize ether in a such manner to make etheric hammer which will bring us enormous ammount to energy. We no need to rediscover the bicycle because Tesla had done it befor 100 years. We just want to replicate all Tesla techonlogy and to bring it to mankind again. Remember without new and inexhaustible source of energy which self exist in all dimesions and universes and nobody make it nor organized it our mankind will be self destroyed in last nuclear war. Speed of bicycle is a self property of bicycle but bicycle is not any property of speed. Another important term is a space. The spatial space. According to my oppinion space is responsible for infinite dynamics and all possible kind of fine level matters interactions. In our Cosmos exist 7 fine level of matters and all what we can see now is about 0.1% and all we can't see is 99.9% and more all of it manifestation of those 7 fine level matters. (not one matter but 7 matters). And this is not an miracle, it's a physics reality in all dimesnions of our universe. In fact our universe i.e. spatial space determine the maximum number of fine level matters not any stupid god or demon, not miracles, not magic, not other cosmic civilizations. In simple words nobody. In other universes which not parallel to our in outlook of classic geometry the number of fine level of matters is bigger or smaller from our. And all this is a natural property of universes. In real talking not any universe not any civilization not any being can stop the human mind to imagine, discover and undesrtand the TRUTH NATURE of self existance not only yourself but all infinite levels of infinite universes. Im going to do the coil around the cap this evening. Was thinking, if we put a diode across the cap, the cap should hold charge. Then we can use that charge whenever. ;]
Polarity of the diode will need to be tried for best results.

Tito once said something about charging a cap with a coil. Maybe this is what he meant.

Like if we have a bifi coil, 2 open ends at the start of the winding and 2 open ends at the end, then we need to connect our load to the start of one of the bifi and to the end of the other fi. So when the input coil fires, it causes current to want to flow in the bifi coils that wants to flow from start to end of the bifi.

But since we have our load connected to the start of 1 of the strands in the bifi, and the other load lead to the end of the other strand in the bifi, then the load lead that is connected to the start strand will be getting sucked on by the start strand and the end strand of the bifi will be pushing. All of this works similar to how the cap charges with the AV plug. During 1 phase of the AV input, 1 of those diodes sucks some charge from one side of the cap, and during the other phase, the other diode pushes charge into the other side of the cap.

So its like a pumping and compressing and decompressing of charge to and from the plates. So the same thing happens in the cap wrapped setup, except that we are inducing the charge inductively.  ;]

Will there be any advantages? Dunno.  But if the diode across the cap shows us that the cap can be really charged efficiently or better, then we have something good.  ;]

Just reading the voltage output with the scope shows the highest voltage potential. Different caps should show different results.

What is your input to the catcher to drive your setup?  Because it may be possible to feed back and loop if the diode on the cap, as I described above, shows quick charging.  ;]

The big metal mass you talk about.  Is it that large coil on the left side of your bottom picture?
If that is a coil then it could be causing problems for you cause it has inductance.
I would use plane piece of heavy metal or maybe remove all windings from around the heavy coil you are trying to use.
I don't agree using a heavy metal mass to make a floating ground but if others have used it successfully then I'm wrong.
Anyways - remove the coil wire and your system may work more as you think it should work without having the additional inductance.
Also remember kacher produces HF so your heavy metal coil could also be picking up some of that like an antenna which also might mess up what you want (or think) your device to do.

Just me 2 cents.
