Beliefs might be based in desires but the evidence against TK's device is coming from video analysis, e.g. a Bearded Guy moves his hand and in the same video frame the load light goes off.

or Tesla example : why is better to use hammer the continous press force to knock in nail into wall ?

It's better to use the hammer because the power is concentrated in "time" like a pile driver when the hammer is swung up then down the power of the hammer head
is increased over a relatively long time time then released in a fraction of that time, which magnifies the power and makes it more useful in some circumstances.

A nail can be driven in with one big hit or many small ones of lesser power it's the concentration of power to overcome the resistance which is the use. Many small hits is still better than trying to push the nail in and probably better than trying to hit it in with one hit. Make and use the tool to suit the job at hand.

Don't get confused about energy from matter though, if I pick up a piece of wood and burn it,
I get much more energy out than what I put in. Some would call that OU but it isn't because it is fuel,
just like gasoline or oil, it's your input.
Transmutation of the elements is not OU either because it is fuel, it's your input.

Concentrating or magnifying power is not OU either. Input and output measurements ought to be done in terms of accumulated energy.
In Watt seconds, Watt hours or kilowatt hours - joules per second.

If AC inputs and outputs are concerned things get complicated.

No OU claim can be taken seriously without the determined joules per second/hour input and output.
In other words energy input compared to energy output over a period of time.

Tesla's magnification of power has nothing to do with OU and is not free energy.
Tesla's radiant energy receiver is no more OU than a solar panel but it is free energy.

Hi Farmhand!

Looks to me that you are one of the too much rare O.U. seekers who looks to me knowing what hu is doing! Taking care of differentiating "V.A.R." from "Watts", and taking care of TRMS measurements, "power" and "energy".

As I have stated so many times on web: unless one use the good tools to observe what is going on, one just do not know what is really going on and so, has more chance than any thing to waste hus time.

I remember here the correct definition(s) of O.U. as trained in engineering around heating-pumps, electricity and hydraulic:

So, as you probably all know:

O.U. = OVER-UNITY

OVER-UNITY = RATIO > 1.000....

But which ratio it is, it is all the question!

Indeed, it is just basically this ratio, and it is a workable ratio, named

"C.O.P. = COEFFICIENT OF (ENERGETIC) PERFORMANCE

C.O.P. = USABLE POWER / COSTLY POWER

(I'm rather tired to type it on the web overthere, but looks it is still necessary  , but surely not for you Farmhand )

USABLE POWER = POWER WE WANT TO USE

POWER= ENERGY / TIME

In heating pumps the main energy (heat) is taken in the environment, the air, water, etc., and it is pumped using electricity but could be an other kind of energy. Just to notice that a part of the energy consumption of the compressor is collected and added in heating form to the main free one.

If we have:

P1: the power of the free energy input,

P2: the one of the drive system (usually electrical consumption),

P3: the usable power output (heat),

we have an other one P4: which is the wastes one, heat and output too,


So then we have the calculation of the COP like so:


COP = (P3 + (P2 - P4)) / P2


So, you can see: P1 is not taken in this way of calculation (if you use an efficiency coefficient to link P1 to P3, you can include P1 in the formula, but it's not the basic calculation of an energetic C.O.P.).


And indeed, for the panels and wind-turbines, they are O.U.: infinite C.O.P., because P2 equals 0 while P4 low compare too P3, so we have the ratio:

(P3 + (0 - P4)) / 0 = (P3 - P4) / 0 = the infinite

but of course, we don't use it because it has not any practical use


Note:

They are other kind of "C.O.P." which a engineering office in energetic may use, these are like "Financial COP" and it's the same than the "energetic COP" but translated in terms of costs and financial value:

FINANCIAL COP = FINANCIAL VALUE OF THE ENERGY PRODUCT IN A PERIOD OF TIME / (COST OF THE DRIVE ENERGY, OF THE INVESTMENTS, OF THE MAINTENANCE AND DESTRUCTION OR RECYCLING CYCLE, IN THE SAME PERIOD OF TIME )

Can have many variations of this, like a pure "ecological C.O.P.", so means of the coefficient, ratio of ecological performance of the energy generator:

ECOLOGICAL IMPACT / USABLE ENERGY PRODUCED

But these ratios get far from the original concept.
