On the other hand a thyristor of the kind used by Stepanov is not the type that is normally available in the junk box of a tinkerer. Means since Stepanov obviously had to obtain his thyristors for switching it is not far-fetched that Kapanadze also had to obtain his triacs for the same technical reason, although it is more likely that such triacs can be found in a junk box.

  Thanks for the offers guys, but I don't have a scope, nor a signal generator. Both being essential to tune the circuit properly.
   I am not looking to get OU, but an efficient circuit to run off of solar panels, that will help increase light output, over what just conventional solar power can provide.
Is there a diagram of the yoke device that can be downloaded?
