Yes, that would be good for making variable voltage AC output from a DC source like a battery.

It's an inverter/oscillator with an autotransformer on the output.

Your Video is finally working Wesley (Stivep).  I love what you said about Kapanadze, at the end of your video.  That is exactly what he is doing.  I thought he could be using someone elses work.  Like secret Cold war device that the Russian Mafia had acquired, and that is why he took off from Russia and never looked back.  Or the fact that the 3 guys that were in the Green Box video look just like Eastern European organized crime members and are using the Good Old TK to make money with the device.  Someone needs to get their balls up and go over there for a demo and just take the dam thing, by force if necessary.  I would gladly do this.  I mean to save the planet, or have a mass extinction.. 
    You guys have to realize that the world is being destroyed on purpose.  The fact that we have gone so far over the edge of total destruction, with out even trying to look back is so scary and sicking.  There has to be more to this than just a bunch of dumb greedy energy cartels, just trying to make a buck.  They could easily make a high frequency ignition system for a car, that would turn the gas into a plasma that would pollute 95% less and still have control.  Why would they not do at least that to save the planet.  Instead we continue with 100 year old tech that was obsolete 20 years after it was made.   The BIG question of why they want us to pollute as much as we can,  seems to me that there is something Very Wrong going on with this Planets inhabitants..  Some would say that God has abandoned us, but it is US that have abandoned God..

This is quite possibly the closest we have seen to the circuitry that TK used for the green box garden video. You have your thyristors and transformer here for a crude but powerful inverter The output circuit arrangement is rather unusual with the use of a capacitively coupled auto-transformer, so it might be worth building this up to see how it performs as there could just might be something interesting to be found with this arrangement.
