Dear anandml.
Many thanks for your recent posts regarding the Chibinidze device. I have got to say that it is the weirdest "piece of kit" I have ever worked on!! Every day something different happens with a simple change of either wiring or coil set up. I recieved a huge "belt" and burn this evening from one of the Aluminium cap cases.

I am going to post a video on Youtube tomorrow showing just a few of the unusual, well at least to me, effects this thing is doing. But I know of one, who may well be able to decipher my "Enigma"

BTW Hoppy. One thing that sticks out as being wrong about that device working on the spark gap.... How did his voltmeter fleetingly read 238 V ac? As you are aware most modern and cheap DVM's can't see HF ac, I know mine does'nt.......

Thanks for the link Grum. I had not really taken much notice of this meter reading as from my experience playing with spark gaps / coil discharges, these spurious readings on a DVM are just the meter not being able to respond properly to both an HV and HF complex waveform. If you set up a classic Kacher or Tesla coil you will also see this. I can never understand why people bother to show DVM readings from the HV side of these type of HV / HF circuits. Even measuring supply battery voltage can give false readings due to the HV 'contamination' all over the circuit.

The Chibinidze setup when driven with a more powerful Royer oscillator will enhance the meter 'dance' as the .coupling from primary drive coil to secondary coils is that much more powerful.
