Kapanadze close sounding 'noise' here at 17:31. Maybe he used a re-wound MOT(s) or other low grade type of trafo in his devices.

Is the clip below a large transformer in the 'Transparent box' device?? Maybe an RF type welding trafo with output heavily loaded with lamps to reduce high voltage, thus the bright, then dimming lamps on switch-on.
